Equitable School Supplies

We ask teachers what they need and we purchase supplies in bulk, saving everyone time and money. Purchase your supplies for the 2024–2025 school year below!

NOTE: The cart icon appears in the bottom right of your screen to checkout.

Parents, caregivers, friends and families contribute and we distribute the supplies to students when school starts in the Fall. The PTA of PS166Q started this program in 2013, and since then, the PTA has been able to provide the same supplies to all students at PS166Q each year and the silver lining is that parents, caregivers, and guardians don’t have to shop for what’s needed.

If you’re able to, please pay it forward and purchase supplies for another student at PS166Q who may not be able to afford supplies this year. Simply increase the quantity below and ‘Add to Cart.’ You can also donate a custom tax-deductible amount to the General PTA Fund to help supplement this project, visit our Donate page (always accessible from the top of any page on this website).

The cost for the entire school year is $45/student!

Your payment of $45 will cover ALL supplies for the full academic year

Display of many items in a school supplies bundle for a classroom: crayons, pencils, glue, notebooks, tissues, wipes, ziploc bags, Sharpie markers, paper towels, glue sticks, erasers, scissors, soap, pencil cases, dry erase whiteboards, etc.

You can also pay with cash or by check.

Parents and caregivers can send in cash or check in their children’s backpack(s) in an envelope with their (a) full name and (b) teacher’s name/class# and (c) “ESS” for Equitable School Supplies written on it. If you have multiple children at the school, one envelope to one of their teachers is sufficient. Also, the envelope can simply be a reused envelope from your junk mail; no need to waste a new one if there’s one in your recycling bin.

If you would like to sponsor another child or donate additional funds to the project, you can include that amount in your check or cash amount and make a note of it. Please be sure to include the student names and grades they’re entering in the Fall so we know who you are paying for. Example: Penne Lasagna (PreK) and Hummus Pita (4th) + additional $20
